Ok, I was skeptical but this app just blew me away.
Fotor was launched almost two years go and brings powerful, easy to use photo editing tools to anyone and everyone with an internet connection. For FREE. It has a clean, intuitive interface and workflow with an absolute ton of customization options.
There's so much more you can do. You can add all kinds of frames, including holiday themes and lacey, girly things. You can change your eye color, put make-up on your face, crop, rotate, make photo cards or collages, use Instagram-like filters, save to the computer or to most social media platforms. It's extremely versatile and so easy your kids can use it.
If you can't afford Photoshop, this is a really viable option. Hell, even if you can afford Photoshop this is a viable option.
So I gave it a whirl....
Here is the photo I started with. It's one I love of me with my Meerkats doll which I received for Hanukkah from my youth group kids a couple years ago. (I love Meerkats.)
It's not a terible picture but I wanted to clean it up just a little. And maybe give it a frame for personality - a polaroid. So here is how it ended up in just a few minutes on Fotor:
Come on. Adorable, right? I used a blemish remover, a wrinkle remover, a button that refreshes your skin (you can even specify how many years you want to take off). I adjusted the lighting and shadows, added the frame.
Also, for added fun, here's a couple more goofy tries at editing my Meerkat photo. I really like the "color splash" option -- it makes the whole photo black and white and then you can bring the color back in just part of the image. And I got a little loopy with adding makeup to my mug:
Well? What are you waiting for? Go forth and Fotor your photos.
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, guys. I received a nominal fee for bringing this product to your attention. And then I liked it too much to not sing about it. All the verbage and opinions are my own.
