It seems on Facebook, you can "thumbs down" an ad that pisses you off. I'm sure they intended this function as an ad sales/research tool and yet, I use it as catharsis...
I saw this ad. I saw this ad and I sort of wanted to slit my wrists...
So I clicked on that little thumbs down icon on the bottom and got a pop-up menu.
Yeah, I clicked "offensive." It's not REALLY offensive in the way I assume they meant it but to me? Effing RUDE.
And thus, a new ad swapped in:
This did not offend me. Mostly it amused me and surprised me. I mean, if they can read into my profile enough to know I'm single and ALONE, they should surely know I'm a Jew.
But yeah -- would rather look at Prebyterians than broken hearts. Kudos, Facebook.
