My homegirl Melissa, over at The Valentine RD, tagged me in her recent "old school" post and I enjoyed it so much, I could not resist participating myself. Remember when these email chains were all the rage?
A. Attached or Single? Single.
B. Best Friend? I met Casey (left) at NYU. She is really more than my best friend. She is my sister. And even though we live on opposite coasts, I think of her every day. FYI, she is also the Statler to my Waldorf..... I met Lauren when I was about 14 but we did not become the inseperable crazy people we are now until our thirties. But what can you say about someone who drives 45 minutes on a Saturday night to pick you up from a party where you are basically crying from being so miserable... She's my person. Also, if she is reading this, she may be crying. Pass her a tissue.
C. Cake or pie? PIE.
D. Day of choice? Saturday.
E. Essential Item? I had to stop and think about this. What is the one item I absolutely could not live without? It's really my teddy bear. I've had him since I was very little and if I didn't have him anymore, I really think I'd be devastated.
F. Favorite color? Purple. Though I wear a lot of black.
G. Gummy bears or worms? Worms. Preferably of the sour variety.
H. Hometown? Born in Tarzana -- born and raised "valley girl." But New York is my hometown. That's where I feel most myself.
I. Favorite Indulgence? Food delivery.
J. January or July? January.
K. Kids? Not that I know of.
L. Life isn’t complete without? Hugs. Lots of them. And soft blankets.
M. Marriage date? I'm eyeing September 9, 2017. Lemme know if you're free. (And before anyone gets even remotely curious or excited, that was sarcasm.)
N. Number of brothers/sisters? I have a brother.
O. Oranges or Apples? I'm allergic to oranges -- one bite or even a whiff and I get nauseous as all get-out. Apples.
P. Phobias? I don't like to fly and I can be claustrophobic.
Q. Quotes? These.
R. Reasons to smile? PUPPIES!!!!!!!!
S. Season of choice? Winter. I realize I am in the minority here, especially living in Southern California.

U. Unknown fact about me? When I started college, I was a musical theater major.
V. Vegetable? I like carrorts a lot.
W. Worst habit? There are a myriad of expressions I overuse such as "Stoppit," "I mean...." and "I know, right?" Also, I blow my nose a lot. I don't consider it a habit as much as it's just an unfortunate result of chronically terrible sinuses, but I am sure it annoys everyone around me a lot of the time.
X. Xray or Ultrasound? I've had both and both with unfavorable results so I'm not really willing to pick a favorite.
Y. Your favorite food? Sushi.
Z. Zodiac sign? Taurus. This typically surprises no one.
