Do I even need to write a post after a title like that? I mean, aren't you already booking your ticket on the Megabus?
But just in case you like pictures and such, never fear -- I have those.
In a city where buffets are everything, Border Grill Las Vegas offers an amazing alternative for all of your brunching needs. You still pay one price, you still get all you can eat, but there's none of that pesky getting up and down to constantly refill your plate nonsense.
How does it work? You pay $35 - $8 more if you want to add a bottomless mimosa to the meal (hint: you totally do) - and then, sit back, order, relax. There are over 20 plates to choose from - Mexican cuisine meets traditional brunch meets Tapas. Order them all, order the one you love over and over, it doesn't matter. And you aren't limited to just OJ and champagne - the mimosas come varied as well with choices like pomegranate, peach and grapefruit juice.
I should add that when you normally do a Vegas buffet, your view for miles and miles is just... people. And food. And servers. When you enjoy brunch with Border Grill Las Vegas, you're sitting over the Mandalay Bay pool area and if you score a table outside, it's a lovely view.
This was just the perfect meal to end our trip with. I simply couldn't wait til the end of Vegas week to share it with you!
First, they start you off with this basket of I-don't-even-know-what. There may have been banana bread...? It doesn't matter because the guava and goat cheese empanadas are everything.
But before you can so much as blink, the orders come out. In this case (left to right, row by row), that would be the waffle and crispy pork belly with maple syrup (oh YES), the breakfast fries (this was my favorite dish), the Yucatan eggs benedict (on a biscuit with pork!), amazing green corn tamales, the fig and blue cheese quesadilla (ok, this was also my favorite dish) and bread pudding french toast.
Believe it or not, there was more, but I just gained eight pounds editing those photos so I'm just not going to put more up but here's two words for you: LOBSTER. PANCAKES.
And while we had bread pudding, of course, we finished out the feast with dessert, as all good girls should. We enjoyed the dulce de leche infused churro tots immensely. It was a nice companion dish to my final pomegranate mimosa.
Like I said -- the perfect way to end our trip. It was delectable, decadent, delicious, delightful --- a lot of D-words, I guess! It left us all in food comas, too. Chris couldn't resist a quick table time-out before we disembarked!
