In 2012, in honor of my 33rd birthday and in hopes I'd step a little further outside of my comfort zone, I spontaneously compiled a list of 33 things I wanted to accomplish throughout the year. But rest assured, it was always more about quality than quantity. In any case, this year I turn 34 and I'm at it again...!
Restaurants to try this year include The Corner Door, Comme Ça, Sycamore Kitchen, Public School 310, The Eveleigh and Huckleberry Cafe
Movies I have always wanted to see and finally will: To Catch a Thief, All About Eve, Blue Valentine, Tigerland, Spinal Tap and One Crazy Summer.
Pay a visit to the Sprinkles Cupcakes ATM
For my room: the scarf bar
Craft crushes: The braided scarf, Shirt bracelets, book page art
Be kinder to my skin, Take better care of my teeth.
Date
Read a book a month, at least
Visit my cousins -- the ones I never ever see and should
Take vitamins
Part with my CD collection (possibly sell those off)
Bake more
Use Google+ -- like, actually learn to use it
Make a perfect dirty martini
Clean up my social footprint (sorry, some of my Facebook friends are gonna have to go, y'all...)
Output more social media/blogging "expertise" on my actual blog
Get over 325 fans for my blog on Facebook (was 300 in 2012)
Read the news more and more often
Learn to knit or crochet and make something
Make a cake (or something) at Duff's Cakemix
Get rid of the ugly blue chair (in my apartment) for reals this time
Ride the Ferris Wheel at the Santa Monica Pier (I've done it before but it's been years. And I love Ferris Wheels.)
Attend a couple wine tastings
Rewatch Alias (since I had a TV series last year) :)
Take a trip to Whimsic Alley
Spend the night in a hotel room alone
Paint something pretty at Color Me Mine (or some place similar) to give someone as a gift
Host a dinner party -- actually cook some of the food OR take a cooking class with friends
Go to LACMA and the Aquarium of the Pacific
